Building Campaign
The Laramie County Community College board of trustees formally expressed its intent to call for a special election asking Laramie County voters to approve funding for a general obligation bond issue in the maximum principal amount of $20 million. Bond proceeds will be used—along with state legislative grants and private funds—to finance the University Student Center and Flexible Technology Building in 2014-2015. 2010-2015 Strategic Plan (Word doc.) was approved by the LCCC Board of Trustees on Nov. 18, 2009.
Laramie County Community College has been an educational anchor in the region for over 40 years, and has received high praise and accolades for our educational role in the communities we serve. We pride ourselves in providing quality education and training to a host of learners, businesses, industries, and governmental and public entities. By pursuing the goals and directions outlined in our new strategic plan, we will continue to analyze community needs, be proactive in embracing new opportunities, and enhance the learning opportunities of our communities and the students we serve.
The Laramie County Community College board of trustees would like to thank those who contributed to this new strategic plan, including the LCCC President's Cabinet, the staff and faculty at LCCC, the Wyoming Community College Commission, members of the local business community, the Albany County Campus, and the many friends of LCCC.
