How do I apply to attend LCCC?
- Fill out an Application for Admission.
- Request copies of your high school/college transcripts be sent to the Admissions Office.
- Take the COMPASS academic skills assessment.
- Visit with an adviser in the Advising & Career Services Office.
- Sign up for classes at the Student Records and Registration Office.
How do I get a student ID?
Student ID cards are issued by the Student Life Office (across from the cafeteria).
Will you send me an admissions packet?
Yes, the Admissions Office can send you a packet. Please contact us so we can get the necessary information from you.
How do I know who my adviser is?
To find out who your advisor is, call Student Records and Registration at 307.778.1239.
Are there deadline dates on admission?
LCCC accepts applications throughout the year. It is a good idea, though, to begin the admission process as early as possible.
When can I take the COMPASS Academic Skills Assessment?
Do I have to apply for admission even if I’m only taking one class?
Yes, you must apply for admission prior to signing up for a class whether the course is for credit or audit.
If I am younger than 18, can I still attend classes at LCCC?
Yes. You must apply for admission and take the COMPASS Academic Skills Assessment prior to registering. Underage students also must contact Brenda Abbott,

Where do I add or drop my classes?
How do I get my books?
Once you have registered, you may take your class schedule to the bookstore, or buy them
online. The bookstore will help you locate the books required for each of your classes. You need your student ID number to pay for your books and payment is due at the time of purchase.
