Kevin is a Cheyenne native and graduated from East High School in 2002. He went on to the University of Wyoming where he studied psychology and anthropology as well as German while participating in the Honor’s Program. He was awarded a scholarship for independent study in 2005 and spent the summer in Germany conducting independent research on race relations in Germany. After graduating in 2007, he joined the Peace Corps, serving two years in Armenia. During his time in Armenia he taught English in a small village and initiated several national programs and clubs promoting civil leadership, environmental stewardship and responsibility for Armenian youth. He is now an assistant outreach coordinator for GEAR UP, focusing on junior high programming.
