Measures to Deal with Colder Weather

Crews dealt with cold, windy conditions recently as they continued work on the new Student Services/University Center and the Flexible Industrial Technology buildings. The following are some conditions crews have dealt with.

    •  If winds are greater than 25 mph, crane operations must shut down.

    •  The colder weather is requiring winter weather protection such as insulation blankets for concrete curing, and enclosing the building openings to keep heat inside.
