As part of a service learning project, students at Laramie County Community College are holding a special summer toy drive to help children. This two-day event will take place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, at Sam’s Club on Dell Range.
The project’s goal is to obtain new toys for the Children’s Discovery Center at LCCC, appropriate for children up to age 7.
Suggested items include balls, outdoor toys, hula hoops, chalk, tricycles, books, educational toys and supplies, and more. The community is also welcome to donate cash to help purchase items as well. The students involved in this project are part of General Psychology 1000-103.
