Featuring Organist/Composer Dr. James Kosnik
Also in conjunction with the LCCC choirs directed by Dr. Judy L. Ransom and the LCCC Brass Ensemble,
directed by Mr. Gary Hall.
A professor of organ and music at Old Dominion University, James Kosnik is also the organist and choir director at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk, Virginia. He performs as harpsichordist with the Virginia Symphony and is heard on their recording of Handel’s Messiah. James performs extensively throughout the United States, with recent concerts in San Francisco, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Rochester. Some of these events have been broadcast on National Public Radio’s Pipedreams. Additionally, he is a featured recitalist and presenter sponsored by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, and he also serves as the program coordinator for its School for Organists and Choir Directors. James’ performances are featured on such recordings as Amazing Grace: Organ Music of Adolphus Hailstork and Organ Music of Cesar Franck.
