Featuring the LCCC Wind Ensemble
Broadway itself references a relatively small slice of Manhattan in New York City. Within this area are forty professional theatres that can seat hundreds of customers for each performance. In 2012 alone, Broadway shows sold approximately one billion dollars in tickets and entertained more than 12 million patrons. The driving force behind this vibrant art is the wonderful music that is the heart and soul of each production. The LCCC Wind Ensemble has selected a wide variety of music from the Broadway venue, from such classics as Fiddler on the Roof and Porgy and Bess up to the powerful production of Les Misérables.
