Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training

The purpose of Gatekeeper Training is to promote help-seeking behaviors and reduce the stigma of seeking help related to depression and suicidal ideation. Learn to identify warning signs of suicide, risks, and protective factors. Learn skills to help yourself, a friend, family member or another student.
 
RSVP is required by calling 307.778.4397. Snacks will be provided. Certificates of attendance will be provided upon request.

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of all deaths in the United States and the 3rd leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 15 to 24. Suicide is the fifth leading cause of deaths in Wyoming and is the second leading cause of death for Wyoming youth.
