Children from kindergarten through 6th grade will have so much fun, they won’t know they’re learning! The Children’s Discovery Center at Laramie County Community College is offering a Summer of Science and Discovery from June 4 through Aug. 24. The center is open from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Summer of Science and Discovery will encourage children to observe and explore the world around them. They’ll do exciting science experiments every week, including making soda geysers, “chromatography chaos,” the vacuum trash bag experiment and more. The classes also will take field trips around the community to learn about businesses and Cheyenne and Wyoming history.

Instructors from both Laramie County Community College and the University of Wyoming will help with the science instruction, as well as with reading and writing skills.

Both full- and part-time slots are available. Call 307.778.1303 for pricing and more information.
