On Feb. 16, LCCC traveled to Torrington, Wyo., to take on the Lancers of Eastern Wyoming College. In the first half LCCC shot 55 percent from the floor and had a 42-29 halftime lead. The Lancers stormed back with a barrage of three pointers, shooting 60 percent from beyond the arc in the second half. The Golden Eagles were able to weather the storm and won 67-63.

The Golden Eagles (16-10, 5-2 Region IX South) return to action Feb. 19 when they travel to Riverton, Wyo., to face the Central Wyoming College Rustlers (16-10). On Feb. 20, LCCC will wrap up its two game road trip at Western Wyoming Community College (15-13) in Rock Springs, Wyo.
