The Golden Eagles had 25 shots and 12 corner kicks. LCCC’s Michaela Boyd and Emi Yamamoto both recorded four shots on goal. Goal keeper Emily Michna had seven saves in the game.
The Golden Eagles (11-1-2 overall, 3-0-1 in Region IX) will be on the road over the weekend in Winter Haven, Fla., to play second-ranked Polk Community College (9-0 overall) on Oct. 10 and then Southwestern Illinois College (10-3-2 overall) on Oct. 11.
