LCCC sonography grads sweep national exam

Monday, September 21, 2009
All six graduates of the new Diagnostic Medical Sonography program have passed the ARDMS physics exam.
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Laramie County Community College has turned out its first group of graduates, and if the national examinations are any indication, they were well prepared for their future.

All six graduates of the LCCC program passed the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) physics exam this summer. In 2008, the national pass rate on this examination was 56 percent. The first LCCC medical sonography class is now interning with seven different clinical affiliates.
