Hoag takes third in Hunt Seat semifinals
Laramie County Community College’s equestrian team member Annie Hoag’s season came to end after finishing third in the Hunt Seat zone semifinals in Pomona, Calif., April 2. Hoag rode in the competitive Beginning Equitation class. Only the top two performers from each class advance to compete at the IHSA Nationals.
The team will continue to support Anna Eberth as she prepares to ride in the IHSA Nationals in Beginning Western Horsemanship May 5-8 in Lexington, Ky.
Rodeo team rides well at CSU RodeoThe Laramie County Community College
rodeo team competed in Ft. Collins, Colo., this past weekend.
The women’s team finished in fourth place.
· Tori Bonham added 140 points to the team total and placed second in barrel racing.
· Jesse Pichler added 20 points to the team total in barrel racing.
The men’s team finished in eighth place with 155 team points.
· Loncey Johnson finished in sixth place in bull riding.
· The duo of Canler Sterkel and Dillon Evenson placed fourth in team roping.
The LCCC rodeo team will travel to Casper, Wyo., April 15-17 for the Casper College Rodeo. Rodeo results can be found at
