The Laramie County Community College equestrian team ends the fall season with a first- and second-place finish at the University of Nebraska horse show in Lincoln, Neb., Saturday.
Individual placings are as follows:
- Emily Graham placed third in open reining in both shows and first and fourth in open horsemanship
- Jamie Johnson placed fourth and fifth in open horsemanship
- Elizabeth Harris placed third and fifth in open horsemanship
- Kayla Fisk placed second in advanced horsemanship in both shows
- Leah Santillanes placed first and third in novice horsemanship
- Krista Quint placed third and fourth in novice horsemanship
- Jordan Matthews placed fourth in novice horsemanship
- Travis Anderson placed third and fourth in intermediate horsemanship
- Sara Eggert placed fifth in intermediate horsemanship
- Trisha Dahlke placed second and seventh in intermediate horsemanship
- Annie Hoag placed second in intermediate horsemanship
- Anna Eberth placed first in beginner horsemanship in both shows
- Katie Briggs placed fourth and seventh in beginner horsemanship
- Vicki Cherry placed fourth and fifth in beginner horsemanship
The following individuals have qualified for western regional competition thus far: Elizabeth Harris, Krista Quint, Annie Hoag and Gloria Welch.
The team will continue competition in February.
