The Read Across Wyoming Celebration, an initiative of Wyoming First Lady Carol Mead, brings the importance of reading to the residents of the Equality State.
And at 3 p.m. Friday, March 2, the First Lady herself will bring the celebration to the students at Laramie County Community College’s
Children’s Discovery Center.
First Lady Mead will read “C is for Cowboy,” “Little Wyoming,” Leo the Late Bloomer,” and “The Hungry Bear” to the children from the CDC’s Zebras and Eagles classes.
Parents, LCCC staff and invited media will have a chance to meet First Lady Mead at 3:50 p.m.
