The Laramie County Community College women’s volleyball team beat Northwest College 3-2 in the first round of the Region IX volleyball tournament on Nov. 2 in Sheridan, Wyo.

Nov. 2 - The Golden Eagles beat Northwest College 25-22, 21-25, 18-25, 25-17, 15-13.

The Golden Eagles (17-10 overall, 7-7 Region IX) will play the third-ranked team in the nation and last year’s Region IX champions, Western Wyoming Community College (33-2 overall, 14-0 Region IX) in the second round at 6 p.m. Nov. 3.
