The Laramie County Community College equestrian team competed in the University of Colorado Western Show on Oct. 21-23 in Fort Lupton, Colo. LCCC does not have a full hunt seat team but individually is showing improvement with every show.
- Adrian Parman placed second, sixth, and seventh in Beginner Equitation
- Amanda Heller placed second, sixth, and seventh in Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
- Annie Hoag placed third, fourth, fourth, and seventh in Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
- Candice Lahners placed fourth, seventh, and seventh in Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
- Chloe Pfoor placed second and seventh in Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
- Emily Hamilton placed fifth, fifth, and sixth in Novice Equitation; third in Novice Fences; and third in Intermediate Fences
- Jessie Johnson placed third, fourth and sixth in Beginner Equitation
- Jamie Johnson placed fifth, sixth and seventh in Novice Equitation
- Natalie Fry placed third and fifth in Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
- Lily Crawford placed third and seventh in Beginner Equitation
The team’s next event is a western show Nov. 5-6 at LCCC. The show begins at 9 a.m. each day. The hunt seat team is done competing until February 2012.
