The ninth-ranked Laramie County Community College volleyball team traveled to North Platte, Neb., on Sept. 13 to take on the North Platte Community College Knights. The Golden Eagles took the first game with ease, winning 25-10. The Knights came back strong, but the Golden Eagles were able to edge by them 27-25. In game three, the Knights were able to get past the Golden Eagles 25-22, but LCCC was able to finish them in the fourth game with a 25-15 win.

Match 1: LCCC vs. NPCC. LCCC won 25-10, 27-25, 22-25, 25-15.
Shelby Johnson had 15 assists and three aces.

Tonight the Golden Eagles (10-1 overall, 1-1 Region IX) host Northwest College at 7 p.m. All Golden Eagle athletic events are free.
