LCCC announces new “Fast Track” degree program

Tuesday, May 21, 2013
Students can obtain an associate of arts degree in general studies in 18 months or even less.

Whether you’re a new high school graduate looking to quickly complete your associate degree or an adult looking to finish your college education to move your career forward, an accelerated program might be the answer for you.

Laramie County Community College recently unveiled the “Fast Track” program, where students can obtain an associate of arts degree in general studies in 18 months or even less, depending on the number of credits already attained.

Some of the benefits of the accelerated program include the opportunity to:
  • take most of these classes conveniently online or in evenings
  • quickly finish the degree you started months or even years earlier
  • transfer to a four-year institution in less than two years
The program begins this fall. Classes are offered in 8-week increments and will be repeated each semester. Students have the flexibility to create a schedule that best suits their individual needs and times.

Participants in the program are strongly encouraged to meet with an adviser to go over class schedules and prerequisites for the program.

For more information about this opportunity, contact Dr. Jose Fierro at 307.778.1103. More details about the can be found at lccc.wy.edu/programs/generalStudies/fasttrack.
