Laramie County Community College’s Maria “Masha” Voitenko was selected to the NJCAA division I volleyball All American first team. She is one of 12 student-athletes from around the country who were selected for this honor. This is the first time the college’s volleyball program has had a first team All American. Last season, Tatyana Lukyanenko was the first LCCC volleyball player to be named an All American and was on the second team.
Vonitenko led the LCCC Golden Eagles volleyball team with 544 kills and had a 39 percent hitting efficiency. She also had 39 blocks and 204 digs.
