Women’s soccer swarms the cougars for the win

The women’s soccer team are 4-1 overall.
The ninth-ranked Laramie County Community College women’s soccer team wrecked conference foe Western Nebraska Community College 8-0 on Sept. 14.

LCCC had possession the majority of the first half but didn’t get many shots. The ladies still were able score two in the half from Vanessa Alexander and Shino Kunisawa. In the second half, the Golden Eagles had started to fire away. Kunisawa scored the next two goals, and then Monica Lubin added two more. LCCC also had goals from Zahimara Fantauzzi and Jezmine Lora. Goalkeepers Aissa Pedraza and Marissa Schultz and the Golden Eagles defense are credited with the shutout.
