Volleyball team drops hard-fought home opener

Golden Eagles are 3-2 on the season.
The Laramie County Community College volleyball team played its home opener against Northeastern Junior College (Sterling, Colo.) in a packed LCCC gymnasium. The Golden Eagles got off to a great start, but a few minor mistakes ended up haunting them as they lost the match to Northeastern 3-0.

Golden Eagles lost the first set 25-21, the second set 25-17, and the third set 25-22. With the loss, the Golden Eagles drop to 3-2 on the year. Next up for the Golden Eagles is a trip to Twin Falls, Idaho, for the Starr Corp/College of Southern Idaho Invite this weekend.
