The Laramie County Community College equestrian team rode in their first competition of the season placing second in the first show and fifth in the second show Oct. 6-7 at the University of Colorado in Fort Lupton, Colo.

Individual Results:

• Jessie Johnson placed first and second in Beginner equitation
• Kailey Kaufmann placed second and third in Beginner equitation
• Amanda Heller placed second and third in Beginning walk, trot, canter equitation
• Emily Hamilton placed fourth in Intermediate Fences and fourth and seventh in Intermediate equitation
• Sarah Stull placed fourth and seventh in Beginning walk, trot, canter equitation
• Morgan Carmichael placed fifth in Intermediate Fences and Intermediate equitation
• Emily Smith placed fifth in Beginner equitation
• Nicole Blankenship placed seventh in Novice Fences and fourth and seventh in Novice equitation
• Candice Lahners placed seventh in Advanced walk, trot, canter equitation
• Natalie Fry placed seventh in Advanced walk, trot, canter equitation
