The Laramie County Community College men’s
rodeo team finished eighth at the Casper College Rodeo on April 16-18. Bull rider Loncey Johnson earned 85 points on his first ride and 80 points on his second ride for a total of 165 points and a first place finish. Jack Tyner placed eighth in tie-down roping with a time/score of 10.5.
The women continue to look for their opportunities to cash in on qualification but are just coming up a little short. Opportunity awaits them April 23-25 at the Sterling College Rodeo in Colorado, hosted by Northeastern Junior College.
