The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles women’s soccer team played in the district semifinals on Nov. 7 in Overland Park, Kan.

The Golden Eagles fell behind early in the first half to the Johnson County Community College Cavaliers. With a lot of the game to play, LCCC never would have thought that would be the only goal of the game … but it was. The Golden Eagles fought hard to overcome that one-goal deficit but couldn’t score the equalizer.

The Golden Eagles season ends with a 13-3-2 record.
