On Jan. 8, the Golden Eagles traveled to Gillette, Wyo., and lost 76-68 to the Gillette College Pronghorns. Both teams had lead changes during the game, but it was the Pronghorns’ free throws that kept LCCC from regaining the lead.
Sophomore Davin Anderson led the Golden Eagles with 20 points. Freshman Travis Shepherd added 16 points and six rebounds, while Terrance Dent chipped in 15 points.
On Jan. 9, LCCC traveled to Casper, Wyo., and lost 72-63 to the Caper College Thunderbirds.
