Equestrian team places nine athletes in Hunt Seat Show

Good showing at Colorado College Horse Show.


The Laramie County Community College equestrian hunt seat team placed nine athletes at the Colorado College Horse Show in Fountain, Colo., last weekend. The team took fifth place on Saturday and sixth on Sunday.

· Emily Hamilton placed fourth in Novice Fences and had two fifth places in Novice Equitation
· Krista Quint placed fourth and seventh in Novice Equitation
· Emily Graham placed sixth and seventh in Intermediate Equitation
· Leah Santillanes placed fourth in Novice Equitation
· Jordan Matthews placed fifth and sixth in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
· Elizabeth Harris placed fourth and fifth in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
· Natalie Fry placed third and sixth in Beginning Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
· Lily Crawford placed fourth and seventh in Walk, Trot Equitation
· Annie Hoag placed first and third in Walk, Trot Equitation

The Equestrian team’s next event will be Feb. 12-13 at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Neb.
