Volleyball team falls to Casper College

As a team, LCCC tallied 75 digs, 34 kills and 28 assists during the match.

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team hit the road on Oct. 19 to take on Casper College in Casper, Wyo. The Golden Eagles fell to the Thunderbirds in three games, 23-25, 15-25 and 21-25.
The Golden Eagles were led by sophomore Ambre Desaulnay and freshman Kanani Auwae, who had nine kills apiece. Sophomore Rory McCloy led in assists with 17; Morgan Norris chipped in with eight assists. Sophomore Madi Lacey led the team in digs with 25.
As a team, LCCC tallied 75 digs, 34 kills, 28 assists, four block assists, two solo blocks and seven errors on serves.
With the loss the Golden Eagles drop to 10-16 on the year and 2-7 in Region IX. Up next, LCCC will host Sheridan College at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 at LCCC.
