The HUB earned the NATPL Innovation in Tech Prep/Career Pathways National Award.
People looking for a new direction, a better job, or just a good start to their higher education have found help from the Career Pathways HUB at Laramie County Community College. Now the HUB has been recognized nationally for its service to our community.

The National Association for Tech Prep Leadership recently bestowed the NATPL Innovation in Tech Prep/Career Pathways National Award on LCCC, Laramie County School District No. 1 and LCCC’s industry partners for their collaboration on the HUB and for the “implementation of unique and innovative components in Tech Prep/Career Pathways.”
Maryellen Tast, the dean of the Lifelong Learning Center, says the partnership with the school district and industry is key to the HUB’s success, and she’s grateful to those partners for helping provide such a valuable resource for the community.
“We believe career coaching utilizing career pathway templates, along with in-depth career exploration, is vital to helping ensure a more prepared workforce,” she says. “We are very pleased our program is being nationally recognized.”
