Four Laramie County Community College student-athletes from last season’s Golden Eagles teams were named to the NJCAA Region IX All-Academic Team.

NJCAA Academic All-American Women’s Soccer
Emily Michna - 3.84 GPA (Distinguished Academic All-American)
Corina Powell  - 3.81 GPA (Distinguished Academic All-American)
Sarah Gillett  - 3.63 GPA

NJCAA Academic All-American Volleyball
Kacie Brown - 3.63 GPA

Also, the Golden Eagles volleyball team was named to the 2009 NJCAA Fall All-Academic Team with an average GPA of 3.06.
