Equestrian team places 12 athletes in LCCC Western Show

Team has one more show this fall.

The Laramie County Community College equestrian team hosted a western intercollegiate horse show Nov. 5-6. There were nine colleges and more than 120 riders present for the horse show.

Individual Results:
· Kayla Fisk placed second in reining and first in open horsemanship, she also received High-Point Rider on Sunday
· Leah Santillanes placed second and sixth in advanced horsemanship
· Jordan Matthews placed first and second in novice horsemanship, she also qualified for regionals
· Shawn Slotterback placed fourth and fifth in novice horsemanship
· Annie Hoag placed third in intermediate II horsemanship
· Alaina Mikesell placed fourth and sixth in intermediate II horsemanship
· Hannah Martin placed fourth and sixth in intermediate I horsemanship
· Brittany DeMartin placed first and fifth in intermediate I horsemanship
· Lily Crawford placed first and third in beginner horsemanship
· Kailey Kaufmann placed third in beginner horsemanship
· Jessie Johnson placed fourth and seventh in beginner horsemanship
· Adrian Parman placed second in beginner horsemanship

The equestrian team’s last event for the fall will be on Nov. 12 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb.
