Equestrian team successful at UC hunt show

Three riders qualify for regionals
 
The Laramie County Community College equestrian show team braved the cold weather Feb. 13-14 for its last hunt seat show of the season at Fall River Farms in Fort Lupton, Colo. Overall the team finished sixth on Saturday and third on Sunday. The team has had a successful season finishing fourth in the region.

The following students qualified for the hunt seat regionals, which will be held March 5 in Omaha, Neb.: Paige Gentry, Cole Tully and Christina Worrell.


Individual placing are as follows:
Paige Gentry placed fourth & sixth in Open Fences
Cole Tully placed third & seventh in Intermediate Fences
Emily Hamilton placed third both days in Novice Fences
Emily Graham placed seventh in Intermediate Equitation
Paige Gentry placed third & sixth in Intermediate Equitation
Christina Worrell placed fourth & sixth in Novice Equitation
Cole Tully placed second & fourth in Novice Equitation
Emily Hamilton placed sixth & seventh in Novice Equitation
Krista Quint placed first both days in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
Kylie Gregory placed third in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
Elizabeth Harris placed fourth & sixth in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter Equitation
Annie Hoag placed sixth both days in Walk, Trot Equitation
