LCCC women’s rodeo team 25th in national standings

Four rodeo team members are listed in national rankings.
The Golden Eagles women’s rodeo team is currently ranked 25th in the nation with 945 points. Two members on the women’s team are ranked nationally in barrel racing. Jesse Pilcher is ranked ninth with 470 points and Lacey Carroll is ranked 16th with 350 points. The women are in fourth place in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.

The men have two athletes with national rankings as well. In saddle bronc riding, Gus Thoreson is ranked 14th with 375 points. In bull riding, Loncey Johnson is ranked 23rd with 245 points. The men are in eighth place in the Central Rocky Mountain Region with 795 points.
