The seventh-ranked Laramie County Community College volleyball team swept two opponents on the road. The team traveled to Glendive, Mont., Oct. 1 to take on Dawson Community College and then to Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyo., on Oct. 2.

Match 1: LCCC vs. Dawson Community College. LCCC won 25-14, 25-10, 25-18.
Michelle Montico had 32 assists. Alona Tsyba had seven kills. Breecia Mangum had 10 digs.

Match 2: LCCC vs. Sheridan College. LCCC won 25-12, 25-18, 25-19.
Maria Voitenko had 10 kills and 9 digs. Michelle Montico had 25 assists.

The Golden Eagles (21-2 overall, 6-1 Region IX) will travel to Riverton, Wyo., to play Central Wyoming College at 7 p.m. on Oct. 8 and to Powell, Wyo., on Oct. 9 to battle Northwest College. The game scheduled against Air Force Prep on Oct. 5 in Colorado Springs, Colo., has been canceled. All Golden Eagle athletic home events are free.
