The Laramie County Community College volleyball team had a great start to the season in the Lamar Volleyball Tournament last weekend, going 3-1. This is the first season for head coach Darren Buckner.

Aug. 26
Match 1: LCCC vs. Otero Junior College. LCCC won 25-7, 26-24, 25-18.

Match 2: LCCC vs. Garden City Community College. LCCC won 26-24, 25-16, 25-8.

Aug. 27
Match 3: LCCC vs. Trinidad State Junior College. LCCC won 25-19, 25-11, 25-8.

Match 4: LCCC vs. No.18 Seward Community College. LCCC lost 24-26, 19-25, 15-25.

The Golden Eagles (3-1 overall, 0-0 Region IX) will host Casper College at 7 p.m. Sept. 6. All Golden Eagle athletic events are free.
