Brandy Brown earns a spot in College National Finals Rodeo

Though the regular college rodeo season is over for the year, LCCC’s Brandy Brown earned an opportunity to compete in breakaway roping at the College National Finals Rodeo.

Her wins throughout the year gave her 310 points, which puts her in third place in the breakaway roping standings in the Central Rocky Mountain Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

The CNFR is June 15-21 at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming.
LCCC’s final rodeo of the season was in Laramie, Wyoming, at the University of Wyoming Rodeo. The women finished eighth with a total of 60 points. They were led by Rayel Livermont who finished third in the breakaway roping.
Top Performers:
  • Rayel Livermont finished third in the breakaway roping with a combined time of 8.0 seconds.
  • Jorry Lammers finished sixth in the barrel racing with a combined time of 30.62 seconds.
  • Kadi McFadden finished eighth in the breakaway roping with a combined time of 16.3 seconds.

  • Brandy Brown is third in the breakaway roping with a total of 310 points and will compete at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper June 15-21.
  • Jorry Lammers is fifth in barrel racing with a total of 450 points.
  • Katelyn Ellis is in eighth in the Women’s All-Around with 350 points.
  • Chance Englebert is ninth in the bareback riding with a total of 313.33 points.
  • Blayne Bradley is 10th in tie-down roping with a total of 180 points.
  • Katelyn Ellis is 11th in the goat tying with a total of 200 points.
  • Peter Wolnofer is 11th in the steer wrestling with a total of 185 points.
  • Tawny Berry is 13th in the goat tying with a total of 170 points.
  • Syerra Christensen is 13th in the breakaway roping with a total of 175 points.
  • Tawny Berry is 14th in the Women’s All-Around with a total of 200 points.
  • Dillion Simonson is 14th in the steer wrestling with a total of 150 points.
  • Brandon Moen is 15th in the bareback riding with a total of 45 points.
  • Kelsey Knust is 17th in the Women’s All-Around with a total of 165 points.
  • Katelyn Ellis is 17th in the breakaway roping with a total of 150 points.
  • Kelsey Knust is 22nd in the goat tying with a total of 55 points.
