Men's soccer team obliterates road opponent

Golden Eagles win by 7 over Northeastern Junior College.

The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer team shut out Northeastern Junior College 7-0 in Sterling, Colo., on Aug. 31 in the first Region IX game of the year.

The Golden Eagles took charge of the game from the first whistle. Gleydson Neri scored the only two goals of the first half, both assisted by his brother Peterson Neri. The Golden Eagles kept it going in the second half with a Luis Gonzalez header from a Gleydson Neri corner kick. Alfonso Perea scored in the 65th minute, assisted by Peterson Neri. Raphael Bonelle scored in the 74th minute assisted by Rafael Santos. The final score of the game came from Dino Soto, which was unassisted.
