It took several leads for the LCCC basketball team to put away Western Wyoming Community College 95-92 on Friday, Dec. 11. Every time LCCC would get a double digit lead, the Mustangs would go on a run and put the game back in reach. LCCC lead at halftime 41-35.

Sophomore Davin Anderson had a break-out game. Anderson scored 37 points; 28 of those points were in the second half. Anderson was 14-for-18 shooting, 3-for-4 behind the arc, 6-for-10 on free throws, with eight assists, six rebounds, and three steals. The Mustangs couldn’t find an answer for Anderson. LCCC shot 13 of 22 from the three-point line, 16-for-24 from the free throw line and finished with 18 assists as a team.
