Women’s soccer player named to All-American team

Laramie County Community College women’s soccer player Michaela Boyd was selected to the NJCAA Division I All-American second team. This is an honor for an exclusive group of players from across the country. Only 11 players are selected for the first team and 11 more are chosen for the second team.

Boyd had a strong season, scoring 12 goals, making a couple of assists and playing in all 18 games, several against ranked opponents. In Boyd’s career at LCCC, she has played in 36 games, scored 26 goals, and added five assists. Last year Boyd earned an Honorable Mention spot on the NJCAA All-American team.

The selections are made by the NJCAA Women's Division I Soccer Committee.
