An Laramie County Community College employee has been recognized as one of Wyoming’s Women of Distinction. Mary Aragon, records technician and Across All Lines adviser, earned the accolades from the Women’s Leadership Conference.

Aragon was one of six women chosen from a field of 32. The award was presented Nov. 11 at the University of Wyoming.

She was nominated by Andy Moore, who said, “Mary has been instrumental in creating a diversity statement for LCCC. She has helped provide educational opportunities for the students and the Cheyenne community through various activities at LCCC.”
