Rodeo teams finish in 7th & 8th at Eastern Wyoming College

Loncey Johnson placed second in bull riding with 71 points.

The Laramie County Community College women’s rodeo team finished in seventh place with 60 points in the Eastern Wyoming College Rodeo in Torrington, Wyo., April 5-7. The men’s team finished in eighth place with 140 points.

Top Performers:
· Loncey Johnson placed second in bull riding with 71 points.
· Quinn Kline placed third in team roping heeler with a combined time of 25.1.
· Jesse Pichler placed fourth in barrel racing with a combined time of 35.37.
· Justin Thomas and Mackenzie Fair tied for fifth place in bull riding with 55 points.

The region standings have the women’s team down a spot to sixth place with 1,030 points, and the men’s team holding in eighth place with 1,150 points.

The LCCC rodeo team will travel to Casper, Wyo., April 20-22 for the Casper College Rodeo. Rodeo results can be found at www.collegerodeo.com.
