Women’s soccer loses rare game to Northwest College

Golden Eagles defeated in tough region match.
The 13th-ranked Laramie County Community College women’s soccer team lost to the Trappers of Northwest College 1-0 on Oct. 12 in Powell, Wyo.

The Golden Eagles battled in a tough Region IX match against the Trappers, but couldn’t find the back of the net. LCCC outshot the Trappers 16-12. The lone goal of the game came in the 71st minute when Trapper Samiha Simao got past the LCCC defense.
