Two of Laramie County Community College’s newest programs are now fully accredited. The
Diagnostic Medical Sonography program was granted accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs in March, and the
Physical Therapist Assistant program earned its accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
That’s great news for the students in LCCC’s programs who will be graduating this week. The college’s first classes of DMS and PTA students will get their diplomas at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Cheyenne Civic Center. The accreditation of both programs means these students’ diplomas will be recognized internationally.
