Be ready for the boom

Wednesday, October 27, 2010
Position yourself for a great career with energy development companies.

With the expected oil and gas boom in southeastern Wyoming, many energy development companies are preparing for the work ahead. Position yourself to take advantage of the boom by getting safety certified through Laramie County Community College.

Many development companies require employees to be certified before they can set foot on the well pad. LCCC is ready to help you get that certification with SafeLand USA – Basic and Industrial Emergency Response: Hazmat Technician – Level 3 and H2S Awareness courses. Additional safety training courses include 10-Hour General Industry Safety and Health; 30-Hour General Industry Safety and Health; 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health; 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health; Hazardous Waste Site Safety: 40-Hour HAZWOPER; 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher; and Confined Space Entry.
