Rodeo team struggles in Lamar

The Laramie County Community College rodeo team struggled to place in the Lamar Community College Rodeo in Lamar, Colo., Oct. 5-7.
Top Performers:
  • Mackenzie Fair tied for third place in bull riding with 78 points.
  • Quinn Kline tied for sixth place in team roping header with a combined time of 16.5.
  • Dalton Harris tied for sixth place in team roping heeler with a combined time of 16.5.
  • Raelynn Keller tied for seventh place in breakaway roping with a combined time of 3.0.

The men’s team fell two spots in the region standings and the women remain in the same position. The overall region standings have the women’s team in seventh place with 270 points and the men’s team in 11th place with 265 points.

The LCCC rodeo team will host the Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo on Oct. 12-14.
