LCCC lose by four to Northeastern Junior College
LCCC had a chance to win but couldn’t seal the victory over the Plainsmen of Northeastern Junior College, falling 65-61 Saturday in Sterling, Colo. The Golden Eagles had to play without leading scorer Travis Shepherd and Dominique Smith, both out due to injuries.

Runnin’ Lopes run down the Eagles
The Golden Eagles lost to Lamar Community College 87-71 on Friday in Lamar, Colo. The Golden Eagles dug themselves into a hole in the first half against the Runnin’ Lopes but came out firing in the second and got within one point of evening the score. However, the Lopes were able to hold off the Eagles and clinch the win.
