Friday, March 14, 2014
The sophomore will graduate from LCCC this May with a degree in general studies and plans to major in international business at UNF.

Ambre Desaulnay, Laramie County Community College women’s volleyball sophomore, has committed to play at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.

Desaulnay, a 5’11 outside hitter, is from Villenueve-Loubet, France. She will join the UNF Ospreys, a Division 1 program and a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference.

“I’m thrilled about the move,” she said. “The connection with the coaching staff, the International Business program, weather and a full ride scholarship ultimately lead to my decision.”

At LCCC, Desaulnay had 344 kills, 362 digs, 38 service aces and 36 blocks. Her accomplishments earned her a spot on the 2013 All-Region IX team, All-Region IX tournament team and the Wyoming Community College Athletic Conference team.
