Equestrian team places 11 athletes in Western Show

So far, six riders have qualified for Western Regionals.
The Laramie County Community College equestrian team rode this weekend at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Neb. The team placed fourth in Show 1 and second in Show 2. The Golden Eagles have six riders so far who have qualified for the Western Regionals: Emily Graham, Elizabeth Harris, Krista Quint, Annie Hoag, Anna Eberth and Gloria Welch. The equestrian team’s next event will be Feb. 19-20 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

  • Elizabeth Harris placed fifth both days in Open Horsemanship
  • Kayla Fisk placed first and fourth in Advanced Horsemanship
  • Krista Quint placed second and fifth in Novice Horsemanship
  • Leah Santillanes placed second and third in Novice Horsemanship
  • Jordan Matthews placed third and fifth in Novice Horsemanship
  • Sara Eggert placed sixth and seventh in Intermediate II Horsemanship
  • Annie Hoag placed first and fifth in Intermediate II Horsemanship
  • Trisha Dahlke placed first and third in Intermediate II Horsemanship
  • Anna Eberth placed second and third in Intermediate I Horsemanship
  • Katie Briggs placed third and fifth in Walk, Trot Horsemanship
