Basketball team blows out Northeast Community College

Golden Eagles enjoy fourth straight win.

The Laramie County Community College men’s basketball team defeated Northeast Community College (6-14) 98-69 on Jan. 28 at LCCC.

The Golden Eagles took control of the game right from the get-go and never looked back. LCCC had a 52-33 advantage at halftime. The Golden Eagles' offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot 56 percent from the field compared with the Hawks' 36 percent. This is their fourth straight win, putting them in second place in the south subregion standings.

The Golden Eagles (10-10 overall, 5-1 south sub-region) will travel to Torrington, Wyo., on Jan. 31 to take on Eastern Wyoming College (7-12 overall, 2-3 south sub-region) at 7:30 p.m. All Golden Eagle athletic home games are free.
