The Laramie County Community College
rodeo team placed in six events Sept. 24-26 at the Sheridan College Rodeo. The men's team earned 375 points and fourth place.
- Ty Taypotat had 81 points in the second round for fifth place in bareback riding.
- Loncey Johnson scored 62 points in the first round and 67 points in the second round for a total of 129 points and third place in saddle bronc.
- Loncey Johnson scored 70 points in the first round and 80 points in the second round for a total of 150 points and second place in bull riding.
- Canler Sterkel teamed up with Dillon Everson to place third in Team Roping. In the first round they had a time of 7.4 seconds and in the second round they had a time of 7.8 seconds.
- Jaime Musfelt took ninth place in goat tying. She had a time of 7.9 seconds in the first round and 11.7 seconds in the second round.
“Our girls’ consistency is improving,” Coach David Browder said. “We still lack a little focus and aggressiveness at times.”
